*Recalling the glorious days past of his battles, Battlin' Blake Baron explains a particular incident involving a skirmish with Nazi soldiers during World War II where the Phantom Aviator was critically wounded but not before passing the book entrusted to him by John Prophet to Baron's mascot, Sammy Smith. Baron later became involved in a top secret government organization called The Veil, which dealt with the occult and supernatural.
