Sharon and Ben are reunited with the rest of the FF, who learn that the cosmic rays has mutated both Ben and Sharon. Sharon becomes even more unstable with the transformation. The FF's problems are about to grow as their ally, The Black Panther is meeting with their worst enemy, Doctor Doom. With Doom in tow, the FF and the Panther head out. They are attacked at the Embassy by the forces of Kristov. X-Factor joins the battle, but Doom takes Beast and Sharon hostage as he heads out to a secret location underground. He ends up in a secret elevator that leads up to Reed's laboratory in the Baxter Building. Sharon manages to escape Doom's prison as the Beast nearly kills Doom. Doom only escapes when he takes Crystal hostage, but its Sharon who turns a corner and becomes comfortable with who she is now.
