Conan the Barbarian (1970) 23-B

"The Shadow of the Vulture!"

Conan rides on a mission on behalf of King Eannatum of Makkalet to ask King Ghannif of Pah-Dishah to send soldiers to the besieged Makkalet. Prince Yezdigerd and his Aghapurian raiders have made camp outside the city's walls. Bitter from his last encounter with Conan, and from the scar that Conan's left him, Yezdigerd sends the best swordsman in all of Turan, Mikhal Oglu, after Conan for revenge. When Mikhal Oglu and his troops catch up with Conan, they chase him back to Makkalet, where waiting inside its walls is the promised aid from Pah-Dishah, a She-devil named Red Sonja and a troop of soldiers.
