Item Bio
"The Return of the Vulture"

Adrian Toomes, aka the Vulture, has been a model prisoner since his defeat by Spider-Man and subsequent imprisonment. He has been so good as to get access to the prison's machine shop, where he produces an improved flight device and escapes. When Spider-Man goes for a rematch, he is caught unprepared when his device to disable the Vulture's wings doesn't work, and the Vulture comes out on top, Peter getting a sprained arm in the process. When the Vulture arrives at the Daily Bugle offices to clean out the safe, Peter has to reluctantly put on the costume and fight with his handicap. After taking the Vulture down, Peter gets closer romantically with Betty Brant.

The street name of the Vulture, Adrian Toomes, has still not been given, despite his two appearances.
