Namor succeeds against the second challenge, as Warlord Krang watches. Krang gets nothing but bitter reprisals from Dorma, whose love he had hoped to win, so he consigns her to the clutches of the Faceless Ones. Meanwhile, Namor struggles with the next challenge.


"Within the Monster Dwells a Man!"

The Leader presses his offer to the Hulk as the army assaults Banner's secret lab, destroying the equipment that keeps Hulk alive. With no choices left, the Leader whisks the Hulk to his own facility in Rome where the Hulk is gassed into submission. Rick Jones is held by the army for questioning about the connection between Banner and the Hulk.
