Zaladane brings her conquering army in the name of Garokk the Sun God, and Ka-Zar, Tongah, and the Petrified Man race to stop them. When the Petrified Man completes his transformation to become Garokk, the armies of Zaladane put down their arms. Zaladane, however, will not be stopped and takes her frustration out on Ka-Zar.

"The Invaders!"

Doctor Doom organizes the Latverians to re-build his castle and goes to the Riviera to distract himself. Watching closely from nearby, the Red Skull and his band of Exiles see an opportunity, and step in to take power in Latveria in Doom's absence.
