As Eric Masterson prepares to fight to maintain custody of his son, Thor and Hercules battle the rock troll Ulik. Plagued by self-doubt, Hercules falters. Leaping to his friend's aid, Thor finds himself buried under a mountain of rubble. Losing contact with his hammer, Thor reverts to mortal form, leaving it up to Police Detective Marcus Stone to settle matters with Ulik.
