Eclipso continues his campaign for world domination and sets a trap for Superman in Metropolis, but the Man of Steel just doesn't get mad enough to become overtaken by the powers of the black diamond.
Joining Dr. Gordon and Mona in Crater Bay, the three find that Lois Lane is there researching a story about a crooked land developer but what none of them realize is that almost the entire town has been under the sway of Eclipso for years.
Finding herself in the possession of a black diamond and angered by the land developer as well as Superman, Lois's anger gets the best of her and she becomes Eclipsed and fights her fiance through the night.
