*The Design of Star Wars
Jabba's menagerie of workers, advisers and hangers-on topped even the Cantina scene from Star Wars. Among the fiercest were Jabba's personal security force, the Gamorrean guards, first envisioned (front by Ralph McQuarrie) as heavy, upright creatures with gorilla-like faces. Another palace guard was Klaatu, with armadillo-like skin and facial horns. He was designed by visual effects expert Ken Ralston and sketched (back) by Nilo Rodis-Jamero. *Source: Back of card
