Item Bio
"Return of the Ant-Man"
Henry Pym had not used his shrinking formula since his strange encounter in the ant hill, but has kept it close, studying ants and developing a helmet that would help him communicate with them. His lab has been hired by the U.S. Government to develop a cold war weapon. The Communists desperately want it, and kidnap him and his colleagues in an attempt to force them to divulge the secret. Pym uses his serum and helmet to get the assistance of an army of ants to put the spies to rout. 13 pages.
First costumed appearance of Ant-Man, Henry "Hank" Pym, first seen in Tales to Astonish (1959) #27 in "The Man in the Ant Hill!".
Reprinted in Marvel Tales Annual #1.

"Strange Encounter"

"The Doorway to Nowhere"
Hugo Cragg escapes from prison in a small European town and holes-up in an abandoned house. Hugo guesses that it is a doorway to another dimension, the ultimate escape, and enters. 5 pages (V-798).

"The Thing from Outer Space"
Colonel Rogers, ace space explorer, returns from a mission with a sample plant, and to everyone's amazement, the plant communicates with them telepathically, warning that it was the real Rogers...that the plant did a mind-swap with the Colonel on the other planet.
