Item Bio
"Duel to the Death with the Vulture!" (14 pages)

New York City is living with a new menace, the eerie Vulture, a man who soundlessly flies like the scavenger after which he is named. His string of crimes has made him legendary in just a short time. Aunt May gives Uncle Ben's old miniature camera to Peter, and he gets the bright idea that if he can photograph the elusive Vulture, he could get top dollar for the shots. He fights and defeats the Vulture, and sells the pictures to J. Jonah Jameson with the understanding that JJJ can never ask how he got the shots.

First appearance of Vulture (Adrian Toomes).

Reprinted in Amazing Spider-Man Annual #7.

When he later investigates as Spider-Man, he finds that the Tinkerer is in league with aliens.
