Frank 'Madman' Einstein races to get to the lab of his mentor Doctor Flem after getting the cryptic message that something serious was happening with Joe/Luna. He doesn't know that it is good news, that Flem has managed to get Frank's girlfriend Joe back into her own body. Madman finds that his anxiety-filled trip is full of peril, from booby-traps to killer robots. At the lab, Joe Lombard discovers that her experience has left her with new powers, and she dons a costume to become Madgirl.
That's when the source of the Frank's trouble reveals itself. Monstadt is back in an android body. Can our heroes recover from the doom to which Monstadt has consigned them?
