"Veteran Affairs" The Veteran, Capt. Johnny Cloud, Lt. Ilsa von Hammer, and Sgt Tommy Tinker (aka the Clockwork Commando) attempt to convince Robin to join their elite military group in their war on terror. As he ponders his decision, Robin discusses his options with Batman, who immediately begins his own investigation of this group.
Meanwhile, a resurrected Darla Aquista, now going by the name Laura Fell, appears as Warlock's Daughter and abducts Bernard Dowd in an attempt to locate Tim Drake. When she finally tracks Tim down, Laura reveals that she has returned for him and all she has to do is kill "that boy called Robin."
