Spider-Man 2099 1-B

Miguel O'Hara is a hotshot young scientist working for Alchemax. Inspired by the powers of Spider-Man, he is the lead on their program to design super-agents. Forced into fatal testing on human subjects by his unscrupulous boss Tyler Stone, Miguel quits. While accepting his resignation, Stone slips the hyper-addictive drug Rapture into his drink. Now Miguel must stay with Alchemax or die from withrawl. Later that night, Miguel sneaks into his lab to reset his genetic code, freeing him of the addiction. However, Miguel is unaware that his resentful supervisor Aaron is also at the lab. He tampers with the machinery, raising all power levels and throwing in the spider genome for good measure, resulting in critical overload.
