"The Sinister Scarecrow"
Iron Man tracks a common thief down into a night club, where the contortionist Umberto is on stage. Iron Man's heroics give Umberto the idea that his talents could be put to better use...a life of crime. He trains some crows to be his sidekicks and loots Tony Stark's safe of weapons designs to sell them to the Cubans, until Iron Man catches up with him.
1st appearance of the Scarecrow.

"The Green Thing"
Reprinted in Creatures on the Loose #21.
A farmer is stunned when one of his plants in his greenhouse starts talking to him. It is a plant life that has come to challenge the dominant life form on our planet to see if Earth is ripe for invasion. The plant show extraordinary mental powers, and it is clear that the farmer is no match for it, until a crow flies by and swoops in to eat the plant. Thus, the invasion is averted. 5 pages.

"Tales of the Watcher: The Primitive"
The Watcher narrates a future tale of an explorer looking for signs of advanced intelligence in our galaxy. He is disappointed when he finally finds a primitive race, and leaves before he sees evidence that they were once more advanced than us, but had developed weaponry too powerful to control.
