"Devil-Wings Over Shadizar"
Conan visits Shadizar, the City of Thieves in Zamora, and is befriended by a barmaid Jenna. He is new to the ways of cities and city women, and Jenna is eager to teach him. While they embrace by moonlight, robed servants of the Night-God strike and take Jenna for their offering. Conan pursues them, interrupting the ceremony, and fights off the demon who has come to claim its offering, but the priestess would see the deed done.
