The FF decide to take a vacation from each other as Reed and Sue head out to see Franklin, Johnny goes off in search of Crystal and Ben sits down to use Reed's thought projector to see how it all started. Ben relives the fateful flight that turned them into the Fantastic Four and their first mission against the Mole Man. As Ben realizes that the Mole Man had the power to rob them of their sight, he must be able to reverse blindness so Alicia can see again. Ben goes off in search of the Mole Man.
