*In 1993, the Ra 'Zplaar aliens followed a homing beacon to Earth, and quickly turned the planet into a war zone. In exchange for their cooperation, humans were bonded with symbiotic parasites which fed off of negative emotions and granted fantastic powers in return. One such parasite bonded with Michael Gabriel, and in an attempt to stop the activation of the fateful homing beacon, traveled backward through time.
