Meanwhile, Johnny Quick is approached by Brainwave, Jr., and they rendezvous with the remaining heroes at the Perisphere, where Brainwave fills them in on how he and the other members of Infinity, Inc. were transported to 1942 from the future as part of the Ultra-Humanite's plan.
