Warlock wanders the stars to find peace and ponder his life on conflict, but conflict tracks him down. He is too late to save a fugitive from a band of zealots from the Church of Universal Truth. He learns of the church and it's monstrous god, Magus, who, in fact, is a twisted variant of Warlock himself!
