"The Flame and the Quest!"

Johnny heads out to search for Crystal but learns that the Great Refuge has been reclaimed by Maximus. Crystal was not part of Black Bolt's group who were exiled. Johnny returns home to Mrs. Harkness' place where the FF are enjoying a mini-vacation. He asks Agatha to locate Crystal, but Crystal is too far away. Crystal has ended up in the future where she falls victim to El Diablo, who has been banished by Dr. Doom. Diablo uses Crystal and Lockjaw to get back to the present where he returns to his homeland and uses Crystal to rally the peasants to revolt so Diablo can seize the country.
