Assistant Editor's month comes to Crystar. Opening in Marvel comics' offices with a conversation between Crystar and the creative staff of his comic, the scene soon returns to Crystalium. As the exiled Crystal Warriors relax in their new home, Ika expresses concern over Crystar's moodiness. When Crystar and most of his company journey to Galax for a meeting with Lord Feldspar and Moltar, Ika and Stalax remain behind. Ika's attempt to move Moltar's headquarters further away from Galax backfires, with the magma castle being transported right next to the Crystal Palace. After the inevitable clash between the followers of the two princes, the wizards Ogeode and Zardeth find themselves joining forces to restore the castles to their proper locations.
