Item Bio
"Now Falls the Skull!"
The Red Skull has grown tired of masquerading as his hated arch-enemy, Captain America. A time of reckoning is nigh. Both Cap and the newly christened Falcon are plucked through time and space from the island of the Exiles to the Skull's Bavarian lair.
What follows is a game of cat-and-mouse between the unmatched power of the Cosmic Cube and an old warrior's wits and brawn.
M.O.D.O.K. and A.I.M. intervene, seeking to nullify their ultimate creation (the Cube), before it can be used against them.
Contains a fan letter from Alan Brennert positing an explanation for Cap's appearances during the 1950's while Steve Rogers was in a state of suspended animation, encased in the ice.
