"The Thrill of the Hunt"

Kraven the Hunter thirsts for revenge and the chance to mount Spider-Man's mask on his trophy wall. He engineer's his opportunity by impersonating Spider-Man and assaulting J. Jonah Jameson. Meanwhile, Betty Brant is consumed over whatever secret Peter Parker's been hiding, and takes an unexpected leave of absence from work. Peter finally understands that, by being absorbed in his personal problems, he has been taken as a snob by his University colleagues, including Gwen Stacy and Harry Osborn.

Once the assault on Jameson hits the papers, Spider-Man rises to Kraven's bait, and goes to clear his name, and so falls into Kraven's trap. Spider-Man proves too much to handle for Kraven, and Kraven exposes his deceit to the public, clearing Spider-Man's name.
