It turns out that some of the best of the new 52 books are not the normal superhero comics. This book is really good. As you can tell from the title, Resrrection Man keeps coming back from the dead with new super powersin each life. The book opens smartly, with us seeing what, to some degree, Resurrection Man feels and goes through when he wakes up from being dead in a new life. His journey quickly take us to him dieing again. It's a good introduction story as we get to see who's chaing Resurrection Man and who's looking for his soul.... It's a fun trip in his short life in issue #1.
All in all - you'll die from how good this book is - 4/5.

I agree, this is one book that seems to be keeping close to the original series in presentation.
