Even More Pointless? Review for Deadpool Team-Up (Vol 2) 899-A
Comic Book by Marvel, Jan 2010
This was the first issue of Deadpool's new team-up arc. It features Fred van Lente on words and relative unkown Dalibor Talajic with the art. The book follows the classic team-up archetype, making it both a self contained and light read. There were some alright moments in this book, but all in all I'd have to say that it was a somewhat mediocre read.
Two classic villains entrap Hercules and Deadpool, using a series of telepathic commands to create misdirection within our tow heroes. Hopefully these get a little better. Over the years I've dropped and picked up Deadpool a number of times in it's various incarnations. It is starting to feel like drop time again with the this team-up vibe.
