Why? What was the point of this book? Okay, so the ghost Box is a portal to another dimension, or even other dimensions. I get that. But what purpose are the two storylines in this book meant to serve? This book has some of the same undertones as 1602. The big difference being that 1602 was a full series that elaborated on its ideas. This is one of two books which is actually broken into two stories itself.
Warren Elis' writing in the first story is so confusing that I was tempted to skip over entire sections. The only saving grace of the this book was Adi Granov's art in the second story. I don't intend on buying the second issue. It is books like these that make me think I should be staying away from one-shots altogether.
