When two of my favorite DC characters meet one would think there would be explosive entertainment stored for me, unfortunately it all depends on the combined talents of the writer and artists to make a good comic story. So, even though the two characters could deliver the combined talents of Loeb and Cooke simply fall short. This is an average comic and nothing more. In terms of plot, as always the Joker screws up the climax by interfering with the Octopus’ plan because he wants the “up and close” experience. Predictability is what the reader does not want but this comic delivers consistently.
