Conan the Barbarian (1970) 18-A by Marvel
Item Bio
"The Thing in the Temple!"
Conan and Fafnir have helped Kyrie regain the throne of Bal-Sagoth, and she dubs herself as Queen Aala. The enemy has not been fully routed out from the catacombs beneath the city, however, and as long as the wizard Ska is loose, Aala's rule is not safe. Ska has allies in those hidden halls, sorcerous beasts who won't wait to become the prey. Conan and Fafnir will have their hands more than full with Ska and his monsters, as the love-spurned Aala sends her guardsmen after the heroes as well. The fights shake the very foundations of Bal-Sagoth, and Conan and Fafnir must fight their way to escape the sinking island. They are picked up by a Turanian ship, captained by Yezdigerd, and bound for adventure.
