Conan the Cimmerian 8-A

Thugra Khotan, wizard king of ancient Stygia, rests in his crypt, sealed away ages ago when the northern hordes swarmed over his nation. Now, an adventurous grave robber disturbs his rest and gives up his life force to the long dead king. Meanwhile, Conan, fresh from the hills of Cimmeria, seeks his place in a mercenary army and finds it with Koth in her border skirmishes with Corinthia. The Kothian leader, Amalric the Lion, distrusts barbarians, but recognizes Conan's value, so gives him work under his watchful eye. Aratus, Amalric's assistant dislikes and distrusts Conan. Elsewhere, out of the tomb of Thugra Khotan comes the figure of Natohk, a mysterious figure of some supernatural power. He is followed by a wave of black scorpions across the deserts of the South, gathering followers to Set, heading North towards the armies of Koth.
