"Hero"

Mar-Vell recovers on board the Kree ship, Pama from his travails with Skrulls and the Shi'Ar Imperial Guard. Once more the frisson flows between he and medic Una. The spell is broken prematurely when Mar-Vell is called back into military duty.

Members of the Imperial Guard escorting the royal envoy, Deathbird are causing a diplomatic incident. Kree and Shi'Ar pool their intel and surreptitiously agree that they shared a common goal; recovering the missing officer, Devros.

As the Pama vectors in on a distress signal issued from Devros' craft, the Kree cruiser descends upon a verdant planet in the Absolom territory. Devros' ship is found and another terrifying discovery;
