The Evil Kulan Gath has placed a spell over Manhattan, transforming it into a medieval town of wizards, adventurers and magic. As he seeks to control the entire island, some who have been transformed stand up to fight him, including the X-Men and the Avengers. Outside the walls, life is normal as Selene breaks Gath's spell and uses Storm and Callisto to gather an army against Gath.
