Longshot has a weird dream that he is ripped apart by Spiral and appears to Storm as an apparition, causing him to quit the team.

Meanwhile, the Nanny and Orphan-Maker arrive in a small town and try to defeat the X-Men by turning Havok, Psylocke and Dazzler against the team. But the X-Men regain their teammates as Havok shoots down the Nanny's ship as she tries to escape but he kills Storm who is also trying to stop the Nanny.
