Item Bio
"The Lord of Tyndall's Quest"
The young Elf, Tyndall has been misled by the Dwarf-Elders of his village. They send him to destroy a "heart of evil" which is responsible for spawning monsters which endanger their well-being. Instead Tyndall finds a shimmering egg, from which hatches a female Elf, Velanna - very much like himself. The two Elves realize the duplicity of the Dwarves and resolve to find a place where they can peacefully exist without being feared or hated. Their progress is observed by the gnarled sorcerer, Grithstane who intends to use both Elves as pawns. Tyndall must return to Klarn and slay an immortal dragon for Grithstane to bathe in its blood and regain his youthful vigour. The wizard wants to be young again in the hope of wooing another Elf-maiden that he keeps chained to a wall. To coerce Tyndall into completing his quest, Grithstane threatens Velanna's life.
