Fantasy Masterpieces (1966) 1-A by Marvel
Item Bio
"Beware!! The Ghosts Surround Me!!" Reprinted from Strange Tales (Vol 1) #76. A thief on the run from the law in Transylvania seeks shelter in a remote, abandoned house. He thinks it's haunted, but the house is really a portal to other dimensions, and they are aliens he sees, and he has strayed too far to come back. 6 pages.
"I Found the Things from Nowhere" Reprinted from Journey Into Mystery (Vol 1) #60. A man watching TV comes upon a strange broadcast of two non-human races fighting for survival. At first, he thinks it's part of a science-fiction special, then realizes that he has somehow tuned into a real life drama that he surmises must be on a distant planet, but the battle is being waged in an anthill outside his window. 5 pages.
"I Became a Human Robot!" Reprinted from Tales of Suspense (Vol 1) #5, incorrectly attributed to Suspense #5. A spy from across the Universe infiltrates the USA, transferring his mind into the body of a robot. He wins the confidence of Earthlings by performing good deeds so that he can learn our weaknesses, but he is deactivated by the scientists who study him, imprisoning him forever. 5 pages.
"I Saw the Other World!" Reprinted from Tales to Astonish (Vol 1) #7. A man finds a strange camera, shoot some pictures with it and develops the film. The pictures show a different dimension than ours. When the man tries to tell a stranger, he is met with disbelief. The stranger, however, seizes the camera and disappears into the other dimension. 4 pages.
"Those Who Change" Reprinted from Amazing Fantasy #10. A group of scientists prove that time travel to the past is possible, but their colleague warns them of tampering with the course of history. They ignore him and send a recording device back to the dawn of life, but their device accidentally kills the creature who was mankind's' genetic forefather, and the consequences ripple through time. 5 pages.
