Item Bio
"The Eternity Man"
After his encounter with the strange gem, the Swamp Thing is whisked away in time repeatedly for a series of bewildering adventures. As he pieces together the clues, he realizes that, in each different scene, there are two constants: the gem is there, and so is a particular man.
Finally, the puzzle is solved, as the Swamp Thing learns of how the man sought, through the gem, eternal life, only to find it more than he can bear. He begs the Swamp Thing to help him end his travesty of an existence.
Meanwhile Matt Cable recruits the young man Bolt to his and Abby Arcane's search for the Swamp Thing.
