The Petrified Man tells his history to Ka-Zar, how he was a sailor lost at sea in the Artic, and found his way to the Savage Land. He sought food and drink, and happened upon the Temple of Garokk the Sun-God, and drank from a sacred chalise, and turned into an immortal personification of Garokk himself. Now he seeks Ka-Zar's aid in stopping Zaladane, Queen priestess of the Sun-God, who blood-thirsty conquest sweeps across the Savage Land.


"Doom Must Die!"

Prince Rudolfo's coupe attempt continues as Doctor Doom struggles against the Faceless One. When the Doomsman arrives on the scene, who will aid? The outcome is uncertain, but the combined events put Doom on his heels, and he is forced to destroy his own castle to drive off his enemies. His control of his Doomsman is incomplete, and he must teleport him to another dimension to end his threat.
