The Reavers have taken down the outer defenses, with some unseen help, as they close in on the main complex but their progress is slowed with the arrival of Freedom Force. Legion kills Destiny as he shares the moment with Mystique. The Reavers gain the upper hand on Freedom Force until Forge pushes them back and off the island. Inspector Reisz shows up at the hospital to see Storm but she is gone when he arrives and kills her Doctor to frame Storm. Psylocke falls into the hands of The Hand.
