Silver Surfer (1968) 2-A

"When Lands the Saucer!"
The Silver Surfer pines for his freedom that he may be rejoined with his lost love, Shalla Bal. He finds no acceptance among the humans, who fear and distrust him. He witnesses a space craft come to New York, and perceives that the humans cannot see the ship. He calls upon the crew and meets the Badoon, an alien race who claim to come in peace, but a captive human screams the truth, that they are here for conquest. 20 pages.

"Part Two: Let Earth Be the Prize!"
The Brotherhood of Badoon welcome the Silver Surfer's resistance to make the conquest more sweet. Using their ability to render themselves invisible, the Badoon spread themselves among the humans, while they send their ultimate weapon, the Monster of Badoon after the Surfer. The Monster, too, is invisible, so to the humans, it appears that the Surfer is wrecking the city. The military sends a volley of rockets after the Surfer, but they strike the Badoon's invisible ship. The Badoon retreat, and Earth never knows that the Surfer saved it. 20 pages.

"Tales of the Watcher: The Coming of the Krills!"
The Watcher stands back and watches the Krill as they are poised to make their invasion of Earth. First, they must make a deal with a Canadian radar outpost operators to turn off their scanners to enable to let the invasion start undetected. They bribe the men with money, power, and the most beautiful women in the Galaxy. One agrees, only to find that the woman was only beautiful by the Krill's standards, not Earth's. 10 pages.
This is a retelling of a story originally published in Amazing Adult Fantasy #8 of the same title.
