"In All the Gathered Gloom!"
The island floats through the Negative Zone, but not unseen. Stygorr, a Negative Zone warlord tracks the island. Seeing it as an invasion from another universe, he sets out to destroy it. Back within the island, the inhabitants, led by Lew Shiner, a construction foreman, rebel against the FF. Shiner wants to force the FF into setting them free. When he tries to use a gun to shoot Johnny Storm, his rebellion ends in his overthrow. As Stygorr continues to pound the protective shield around the island, Reed gets an idea from the failed rebellion. He uses the building Shiner was going to knock down as a force to propel the island back into reality. When he ejects the building, he does not realize Shiner is in it. Shiner runs into Stygorr, which creates the explosion that knocks the island back through the Negative Zone and lands it back where it belongs.
