"Nightlines"
Charles Xavier faces off against Senator Kelly and Gaydon Creed, leader of the Friends of Humanity on live television in a debate about mutants. Charles makes an impassionate plea to all of America that mutants are, for the most part, peace loving law abiding citizens. Charles is shocked by the response of Senator Kelly, who does believe that as well but cannot dismiss those groups that have declared war on humanity as the reason for a crackdown on mutants. Meanwhile, the team relaxes at their favorite hang-out, Hary's Hideaway to watch the debate but are called away at the end since Scott believes that he may have found the headquarters of the Acolytes.
