"Villains"
One of Boneyard's demons has taken the form of the cartoon hero Maxi-Man from Kevin Green's youth, but is on a rampage to impress his master, and will kill Kevin and his girlfriend Kelly unless Kevin can manifest into Prime. Meanwhile, Kevin's father has contacted Colonel Samuels, who was responsible for Kevin's transformation into a part-time Ultra. Samuels was unaware of Kevin's ability, and takes control of the situation once he sees the potential power that he might control.
"Rune, Chapter B: The Sorcerer"
A flashback to the year 303 AD shows Rune in Africa, worshiped like a god, feeding off his people, sustaining his immortality and life-force. The flip cover for this issue is one of the eleven parts of the Rune collage cover. 3 pages.
Story continues in Night Man #1.
Rune #0 was originally published in 11 three-page installments, labeled A through K.
