Item Bio
"Prodigal, Part 10 of 12" continued from Batman #514 and continues in Detective Comics #681.
Batman is being held captive by the Tally Man, who wants him to suffer for what he did to him in their last encounter. Of course, he is unaware that it was Jean-Paul Valley he encountered before and who carved the symbol of a bat into his chest. Batman struggles free, and when he saves the Tally Man's life in the midst of their struggle, the Tally Man declares that his debt is canceled. Batman must, however, bring him in, although he is more sure than ever that Batman is not who he truly is.
