Wolverine and Storm continue on their mission in Africa while back in Chicago, Rachel is in a fight for her life against the Shi'Ar commandos. In orbit, the Shi'Ar commander decides to wipe Rachel out along with everyone in the area. But before he can kill Rachel, Bishop's team arrives on the scene to even the odds. With help from Psylocke, they stop the Shi'Ar weapon which would wipe out Chicago and turn the weapon back on the Shi'Ar.
