Item Bio
"Red Shadows and Black Kraken!" An adaptation of "Conan of the Isles" by L. Sprague De Camp and Lin Carter. Announced to be continued in Conan Annual #8, but never finished.
Aquilonians are disappearing by the score, vanishing in the spell of the Red Shadow. King Conan is visited in his dreams by the prophet Epemitreus, who tells him that it is his great last task: to leave Aquilonia's throne to his son Conn and quest to stop this menace to the land. Traveling in secret, Conan resumes the persona of Amra the pirate, and gathers about him a crew that includes a few old acquaintances for his great mission.
Also contains three pin-ups by Franc Reyes.
