Scott and Jean are on the run inside Stryfe's headquarters, a headquarters that is being searched for by Cable, Wolverine and Bishop. Beast and Moira try to solve the riddle of the virus that is killing Professor X but they can't crack the code. Meanwhile, Storm negotiates with Apocalypse who claims that he can cure Xavier, but for a price. Wolverine finally puts it all together on where the location of the base is at the same time Jean and Scott escape from it, on the moon.
