Red Sonja has brought the slaughtered messenger back to his walled desert city, and, at the command of the High Priest, she is attacked and thrown to the pit, where she must fend off an ogre, and kill or be killed. The Priest sees her as the pre-ordained one, and has her pulled from the pit and reports all this to his master, the Celestial One, Borat-Na Fori. He demands that she be sacrificed at his alter, and it is done. She is bound and the Priest drives a sacrificial dagger into her heart...

Prequel to Red Sonja vs Thulsa Doom. Red Sonja is on the hunt, but she is not sure for what. She follows a trail of death and destruction that leads right through her homelands of Hyrkania.
