Reed is on the trail of the Crusader as they figure out part of his motive for the attacks which allows them to anticipate his next attack. The FF arrive to stop the Crusader from his next victim as the Crusader comes clean on why he is attacking this chain of banks. His father applied for a loan and was denied but managed to build his rocket and leave Earth with his son. They found a civilization on Uranus where they lived for many years. The Crusader returned to Earth but was denied a loan from this bank chain for medical supplies and by the time he raised enough money and returned, the civilization, including his father, was dead. Reed figures out the source of his power and cuts the Crusader off from it, making him vulnerable to attack from the FF, who finally defeat him.
