Conan the Barbarian (1970) 37-A

"The Curse of the Golden Skull!"

Conan and fellow mercenary Juma, ride with the Turanian Cavalry on an expedition into the mountains of the wind-whipped northern wastes. The Hill-Tribes there have been resisting the advances of king Yildiz, and he wishes to extend the arm of his empire, as well as capturing any spoils of war. Not expecting much resistance from these so called "savages" he allows Princess Yolinda to accompany the caravan, and places her in Conan's charge. Shortly after entering a high mountain pass, the Hill-Tribes ambush Conan and the rest of their comrades. Surprisingly, the hill men are well equipped with armor and weapons, and carry out an organized attack. A fierce battle ensues, and soon only Conan and Juma are left standing, surrounded by the hill men, with all of the Turanian Cavalry either dead or run off. Conan and Juma, along with the princess, are captured. They are led higher into the frozen mountains, and then start to descend into a verdant valley lying below. Here they are brought to a hidden city within the jungle, ruled by a mad wizard. He means to enslave Conan and Juma, and make Princess Yolinda his bride. But, there are other monsters, which lurk in the night. Will Conan be able to save the princess, and himself? One thing for sure; if he can there's bound to be gold and other treasures awaiting him in Turan's capital city, Aghrapur!
