Night of Masques
Phoenix, Cable, Beast, Storm and Gambit go on holiday in Venice but their vacation is cut short as a mythical group called the Shockwave Riders attack. The group battles and the X-Men manage to take one alive. But their prisoner proves to be resilient to their interrogation methods. As Phoenix establishes a mind-link with the captured Shockwave Rider, the X-Men discover it's all a trap to capture Phoenix.
